The property is located in the municipality of Ponzano di Fermo, in a beautiful hilly setting with main exposure south-west. The property is easily accessible from the Adriatic Coast, also using the freeway exit of Fermo-Porto San Giorgio you can reach the airports of Ancona or Pescara, more or less distant between 70 and 90 km.
Ponzano di Fermo is a village of about 1.700 inhabitants situated south/east of Fermo, it has a valuable medieval church, that of Santa Maria Mater Domini, improperly known as church of San Marco, built in the XII century on a pre-existing structure of the VI-VII century.
The first settlements probably date back to the second or third century AD. During the longobardo dominion, the duke Faroaldo of Spoleto, donates in the VIII century this territory to the monaci of the abbey of Farfa, that they build you the church of Saint Maria Mater Domini.
