What you should know about this house

Amenities and special features of this house

This characteristic rustic country house is located on top of the world, in one of the most suggestive villages in the hills of far-western Liguria, resembling a nest perched on the rocks.
It is quite easy to reach the house and village of Realdo, an area of Triora, by following the main provincial road for 30 km from Taggia.
This rural house is located on a 'carruggio' (typical Ligurian narrow alley) in the centre of the village and rises on three floors.
It has been completely renovated with love and care by its owner, who adores the mountains, the cosy feel of wood cladding, the rough charm of stone, wooden stoves and fireplaces, breathtaking views, green pine trees, pure air and peacefulness.
On the ground floor you are welcomed by a cosy kitchen-dining room and a bathroom; on the first floor there is the living room with a balcony looking onto the rocky mountain, and on the upper floor two bedrooms.
The cellar has been transformed into a tavern with a bathroom.
A house from another time.
Ideal to enjoy the cool air in summer and to find a refuge away from everyone and forget the world.

Altri Borghi Liguri: Location and surroundings of this property

Realdo is part of the upper Valle Argentina, a valley which has managed to preserve its authentic, slightly 'wild' beauty.
Realdo is a truly unique village, perched at the top of a 150 meter-high cliff, with breathtaking views. It is nestled amidst vegetable gardens, still thriving to this day.
Coming from the provincial road, leading from the coast, the hamlet stands out from on top of the rock.
A mountain refuge has been open for the past few years, in which you can find a environmental excursion and cycling guide, a hiking lover and true enthusiast of the local mountains.
It happens to be the starting point for many excursions to various destinations, all to be discovered: the High-road of the Ligurian mountains, or Carmeli with its cool natural water pools, where you can take a swim; or even the Collardente Pass, where you'll be able to reach Mount Saccarello, the tallest mountain in Liguria.
Even 'Graa dë Marmu', a grotto dating back to the Copper age, is also definitely deserving of a mention!
Back at the village, a restaurant-bar offers typical dishes from “Terra Brigasca”, this mountain community which preserves their history and traditions.
In less than an hour you can reach the Ligurian coast with its beaches and worldly social life.
