This manor house, built in a small village in Val di Sole and dating back to early XIX century, has been completely renovated in the early 2000s. The current owners wanted to preserve period architectural features, mixing the classic style with an elegant rustic portion finished in antique wood clatter.
This pleasant property is currently designed for multiple units, but is well suited to be used as a single residence, thanks to the excellent interior layout.
It spreads over three levels plus attic space, connected internally by a splendid central staircase in Botticino stone. The main entrance leads to the basement floor - with its own access - composed of vaulted rooms, stone walls and handmade terracotta floors, as well as its own bathroom.
On the ground floor there are storage rooms and a pleasant living area facing south, with a balcony, composed of two beautiful bedrooms, bathroom, living room and utility room; upstairs, an equivalent unit (2 bedrooms) with beamed ceiling and antique wood details. The material has been carefully researched and recovered from an old "maso" - a typical local dwelling - and then used to cover the interior and exterior of the last unit, a duplex, which offers a refined alpine feeling, also thanks to the traditional and suggestive wooden stube. Every level offers external access, thanks to numerous balconies and terraces.
The property is very balanced and is completed by a garage for 4 cars and land of over 1.500sqm, below the ancient fortress of the village, dating back to the XIIIth century.
Val di Sole is located in the north-western part of Trentino along the course of the river Noce. From here you can admire the Ortles-Cevedale group to the north, the Brenta group to the south and the Adamello-Presanella to the west; these are the main mountain ranges that surround this wide valley, with a strong tourist vocation and devoted to activities such as rafting, mountain biking - with the world championships held on several occasions - as well as winter sports, thanks to the nearby ski area (10km - 15min drive from the property) of Tonale, Pejo 3000 and, not least of Marilleva-Campiglio, today connected by modern facilities to the famous slopes of Val Rendena. Val di Sole has for years also been a summer training destination for important football teams from the Italian and international scene. The termal baths of Rabbi and Pejo are known since Roman times and have beneficial effects for the body: other important resources are animal cattlery, forest exploitation and the cultivation of fruit trees in the lower part of the valley, in particular the cultivation of apple orchards, as in nearby Non valley. The valley is one of the best connected in the whole province, and can be reached by car, bus or train, thanks to the Trento-Malè railway, which connects the provincial capital with numerous stops until the Marilleva skilifts.
