The property is located in the municipality of Lecco. Lecco owes much of its beauty to the unique location and morphology; it is located in the extreme southeastern basin of the lake, extending along a section of the eastern banks of the Adda, until Lake Garlate, where the river enters. And bordering the north is Mount San Martino and on the east is Mount Resegone.
The historical center, characterized by sober but elegant nineteenth-century buildings in neoclassical style, preserves traces of the Visconti domination.
Here Alessandro Manzoni spent long periods of childhood and youth. From the town of Lecco it is possible take the ferryboat around Lake Como visiting renowned resorts such as Bellagio, Varenna, and Bellano. In addition there is a highway allowing quick access to Colico and the northern end of the lake; there are 2 ways to reach Switzerland, from Chiavenna you can take either the Splugan Pass or the Maloja Pass.
Major highways and railway line serve the city. Milan is about 45 minutes by car, from Lugano 55 minutes, using the ferryboat and an hour from the airport of Bergamo Orio al Serio and Linate.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
