Cossano Belbo: Location and surroundings of this property

Cossano Belbo is located in the center of the Belbo Valley, in the lower Langa, 30 km away. from Asti and Alba, in the easternmost part of the province of Cuneo. Its territory is about 21 sq km, an ancient marine plateau which emerged thanks to the formation of the Alps first and then of the Apennines, which over the ages has been profoundly shaped by the erosion of rivers, originating a predominantly hilly conformation "LANGA" ( strips of land) with the Belbo stream, which flows northwards until it flows into the Tanaro river. Cossano Belbo boasts ancient origins testified by the findings of funerary steles, necropolis and remains of pavement of ancient Roman roads. From up here, from west to east, there is a beautiful view over the valley to the adjacent hills with their nature, their communities and isolated farms. It is located in a road context that allows it to easily reach both Santo Stefano Bello and Alba and the Ligurian Riviera.
