What you should know about this villa

Amenities and special features of this villa

The villa, apparently of the eighteenth century, actually dates back to the sixteenth century and represents one of the classic properties of the ancient Venetian nobility. The original structure was remodeled in the nineteenth century, while in the 2000s it was the subject of a radical and exemplary restoration. On the ground floor, the layout of the spaces of the current main body, which is spread over a total area of about 600 square meters, presents the important entrance hall, four large living room / study rooms, a beautiful kitchen with fireplace and airy attached porch , a large dining room, a bathroom, and a laundry room, while the upper floor consists of five spacious rooms and three bathrooms. Finally, there is the attic floor that the recent intervention transformed into a large open space particularly evocative. The clever and accurate restoration revealed some elements dating back to the '500, at the same time was able to preserve original finishes dating back to later times. Instead, the small noble oratory is practically completely
original. In the nineteenth century, the main body and the church were joined by extension works and currently, the building covers a total area of about 500 square meters, partially restored and a part to be renovated. On the front and on the west side of the Villa the secular park extends, while on the back there is the remaining uncovered property, all for a total surface of about 3 hectares. A home is also chosen for practical needs, but above all the predominant aspect is linked to the emotions it transmits. Certainly, this Villa arouses exclusive emotions, and to understand if they are the ones you are looking for, we invite you to experience it directly as a personal experience.

Zone Limitrofe: Location and surroundings of this property

The suggestive definition "Tiepolos' lands" refers to the famous family of artists that has been admirable example of taste for the light and the silence of the countryside and for its fertility. Mirano has its deep roots in the most distant history. The name Mirano, formerly Miranum, most probably derives from the words "mira"(aim) or "specola" (observatory); one presumes that the Romans had to keep a military observatory there, as in the nearby village of Mira. The area in which the village is located - called 'Miranese' - has peculiar territorial features, expressions of different centuries but perfectly inserted in the natural context of the typical Venetian countryside: the Roman grid street plan - still the largest and best preserved of the known Roman centuriations - and the villas with scenic parks built by the Venetian nobility in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The landscape is the agricultural one typical of the Roman centuriation: large plots divided by hedges and traversed by long straight roads that intersect at right angles. Subject to Venetian supremacy in the fifteenth century, Mirano experienced a long period of peace under the domination of the Republic, during which the city reached its peak, with the expansion of the culture of the villa (especially in the seventeenth - eighteenth century). Mirano was populated with aristocratic villas, manors and rural houses, which still soften its countryside and are a destination for a refined and discreet tourism. Today Mirano is one of the best-served cities in the area: it boasts an efficient hospital, high schools and listed professional institutes and proximity to motorway toll booths.
