Amenities and special features of this villa

Villa Camerota is a gorgeous property on the cliff overlooking the beautiful beach of Marina di Camerota. The entrance gate of the Villa is on a small walkway by the beach, from here through a large multi-level garden you get to the building developed on two floors. The 362 sqm of total surface include a ‘trullo’ that needs to be renovated, the land is approximately 3500 sqm. The ground floor contains the large luxurious living room which offers a breath-taking view of the sea, on the same floor there is also an office, a bathroom, the kitchen, a large veranda with an additional small kitchen and the access to the garden and the terrace. On the first floor, accessible from both inside and outside of the house, there are three bedrooms all with sea view, one of them with a private terrace, and one more bathroom. The external courtyard of the villa surrounds it completely, arriving up to terraces that descend almost to sea level and at the entrance of the road facing the beach, where there is an additional gate. Villa Camerota is a magnificent property, a mix of sea, privacy and wide spaces, its magic!

Further Properties: Location and surroundings of this property

Marina di Camerota is one of the beaches in the town of Camerota, it is part of the large Cilento, Vallo Di Diano and Alburni National Park, UNESCO heritage, the second largest park in Italy with an extraordinary naturalistic richness of the territory which goes hand in hand with the mythical and mysterious character of a land rich in history and culture; pristine beaches, wild, rich in Mediterranean vegetation, often dotted with caves and trekking paths. The name Camerota might come from the Greek word Kamaratòn, that is a building with the shape of an arch which recalls the many natural caves found in this area; a legend also has it that his name comes from Kamaraton, the nymph who fell in love with Palinurus.

There are numerous remains of ancient Palaces or of the Saracen Towers, Camerota itself is the town with the most history which has preserved its appearance as a medieval village from which you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view.

The undisputed strength of Marina Camerota are the beaches, with their sandy coastline, transparent water and the many services offered by the various beach resorts are among the most suitable for those who want to combine relax and fun.

Marina di Camerota is about 5 kilometers from the town of Camerota. The stop, arriving by train from Naples or Salerno, is Centola or Pisciotta-Palinuro, and then continue by taxi or local bus to Marina di Camerota. The closest airport is the one in Naples. During the summer season there are also boats departing from Salerno (molo Manfredi). If arriving by car, the A3 (Napoli-Salerno-Reggio Calabria) is the one to take, exit Padula-Buonabitacolo, then the Statale 517 towards Sapri, exit Marina di Camerota-Palinuro and continue on the Statale 18.
