Fascinating historical villa located in Valbrembo, a few kilometers from the center of Bergamo, dating from the eighteenth century.
The main body of the villa, is articulated in the shape of U, on three floors, with a large front court, which is accessed by a driveway leading to the main entrance. The court is bordered by two large barns which also overlook the garden, and it can be transformed according to the needs (fitness area with indoor pool, concierge and room service staff, other housing units).
The gardens designed by Simone Cantoni, named by Count Gentile Benaglio between 1803 and 1806, are still well preserved and give a sense of extra elegance to the villa; at the center of the garden there is a fountain from which radiate paths in the direction of the four cardinal points.
The interior of the Villa maintain, on the ground floor, large rooms and halls characterized by vaults of various design and stucco decorations, while, at the first floor, rooms have frescoed and decorated ceilings and antique terracotta Lombard floors. Finally, at the second floor it is interesting the sequence of rooms with wooden beams ceilings finely decorated. Note the presence, at each floor, of several marble chimneys.
Most plasters are attributed to Filippo Comerio and partly to Vincenzo Bonomini.
The park remains an area bordered by columns once used to shelter plants of citrus; in the east area there is an aviary.

Valbrembo is a town in the hills a few kilometers from Bergamo.
The most important road is the provincial Villa D'Alme-Dalmine which runs through the town from north to south.
It is 15 minutes from the international airport of Milan / Orio al Serio and 45 minutes from the airport of Milan / Linate.
The country still retains elements from medieval times including a stone tower, built in Frera farm, the Vacis tower and the adjoining fortified house, used as an observation point on the river Brembo.
