Amenities and special features of this villa

Located just 10 minutes from the historic Temples of Paestum, Villa Venere is the ideal place for anyone who wants to live in the spaciousness and warmth of a natural space ideal to transform itself. Comfortable, large and private, the property insists on an area of approx. 2000 sqm surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees on a land suitable for genuine cultivation. The outdoor space is embellished by graceful illuminated gardens built on multiple levels and by terraces that, in the starry summer evenings, come to life and transforming themselves both in places of sharing and in places of absolute privacy. The structure is developed on 3 levels. The ground floor is dominated by the living room which, with its large size, the large fireplace and its central marble staircase leading to the night floor, describes the welcoming and familiar soul of Villa Venere, perfect also for life in winter. Also on the ground floor, with access from the lounge, here are the bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen with its independent entrance completing the whole. The first floor, more modern with entry from the staircase of the living room, consists of a corridor, a bathroom and five very spacious bedrooms, all with access to the balconies completely sourrounding the property. The basement, however, has its entrance from the outside; in front, the woodshed and the traditional wood-burning oven, the very large closet, the kitchen, the bathroom and the garage, meet the needs of a family-friendly villa, for holiday, relaxation and tradition.

Amalfi-Capri: Location and surroundings of this property

Villa Venere is located in the municipality of Capaccio-Paestum, one of the most famous towns of Cilento, very important from the historical-archaeological point of view. Capaccio and Paestum are two places whose history is closely connected. The name of the place, originally Calpatium, originates from the Latin "caput acquae" or "origin of water". On the northern slope of Mount Calpazio, the remains of Capaccio Vecchio are still located, destroyed by the King Federico II. In the territory there is the archaeological area of Paestum, the Roman city built on the Greek colony of Poseidoni, which is one of the most important archaeological parks in the world, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and where you can admire the three best preserved Greek temples in the world. Capaccio-Paestum is a plateau characterized by a long strip of coastline with sandy beaches even 80 m wide, followed by a pine forest and a vast plain that reaches the slopes of the mountain groups falling within the Cilento National Park, a UNESCO heritage site too. Capaccio-Paestum is also an important seaside resort, with the "Blue Flag Fee" award that certifies the cleanliness of the seas, the environmental protection and the efficiency of services related to tourism. Thanks to its landscape and other charachteristics, Capaccio-Paestum is the perfect mix of art, history, sea and nature.
