Carlazzo: Location and surroundings of this property

Located in Carlazzo, this villa is in a strategic position between Lake Lugano and Lake Como, just 5 minutes from the town of Porlezza, 20 minutes from the cultural city of Lugano and, in the opposite direction, 15 minutes from Menaggio on Lake Como.
Porlezza is an active city with 4 supermarkets, 3 pharmacies and many excellent bars and restaurants.
Porlezza presents itself as a perfect starting point for excursions to the surrounding villages, such as Carlazzo, Grotta and Castello and during the summer there is a ferryboat service to Lugano. Whether enjoying a leisurely walk eating real Italian ice cream, or a romantic dinner in one of the high quality restaurants, the beauty of Lake Lugano is omnipresent. If you are looking for a lively nightlife with a cosmopolitan touch, you will be enchanted by the nearby Swiss city of Lugano. Inexperienced hikers can also tackle hiking trails, like the one from Monte Lema to Monte Tamaro.
Menaggio, with its renowned Golf Club, offers a frequent service of boats and ferries that connect the town throughout the year with other renowned lake resorts such as Bellagio, Varenna and Como.
The provincial capital of Como is about 49 km (about 64 minutes), the city of Lecco about 38 km (about 82 minutes). The metropolitan area of Milan with its international airports Malpensa and Linate can be reached in about half an hour by car (approximately 93 km), the national airport of Lugano, in about 30 minutes. The famous ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH) in about 2.5 hours, and Livigno in Italy in about three hours, are all not too far away for skiers.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (an affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) and/or use of the services listed in our brochure or the property for sale on our property cards are governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
