Zacboats Company was created in the year 2000 to formalize and make official Enrico Zaccagni experience in the Classic Yachting field and to offer his knowledge to the international attention and market. The consistent and very coherent scientific education received from his studies in the Naval Engineering and Marine Architecture and the long experience (over 15 years) on sailing and living on board of the 1924 -50 ton ketch Alzavola, cruising in Mediterranean sea, Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean. Managing maintenance and care are the bases of ZACBOATS, a small company driven by technological and historical knowledge and a great passion. The team of collaborators is composed by excellent technicians: naval engineers, marine architects, yacht designers, sea captains and experts in the various fields of the yachting world. Even in the Classic Yacht Restoration field the company uses the latest and updated technologies, designing laser scanning, 3D versions use of renderings. But also few brushes of watercolor can make the difference, bringing our profession more close to the yachting masterpieces of the past time, when often a yacht designer was a great draughtsman, a skilled seaman and a racing yachtsman.
