Meet Afi!
Afi is a model student: she is the pride of her family, of her Ecole Priveé Engel & Völkers' teachers and also of the E&V Costa Smeralda team who support her studies.
In the past school year she received 125.5 points out of 140 credit points and took 4th place. She has thus passed the exam with excellence and now she attends the 4th grade.
Although Afi is a diligent student she always finds time to spend with her friend, helping them with their homework and in the fields.
Afi is a girl and like all the other girls in the world has dreams, hopes and she deserves a future that lives up to her dreams.
Success is a wonderful thing and it’s even best when shared, that is why in October 2008 E&V Charity has been founded with the aim to actively support the construction of a primary school in Togo.
The initiative led to the construction of École privée Engel Völkers in 2009, an elementary school for the district’s children. Since 2010, the school teaches the official language French, most important requirement for a further education and more sophisticated professions. Additional to the lessons in reading, writing and maths, the school provides all necessary course material and two hot meals per day in the school’s canteen that has been built in 2017.
It is important to overcome our privileges and it’s our moral duty to be aware of our own humanitarian responsibilities offering help where it is most needed.
Our efforts are targeted to offer to the Agbetiko children the possibility to build a better life.
The right to education should be granted to every child of the world, help us in securing this right, even the smallest donation can make a big difference.
Engel & Völkers Charity gives you the chance to sponsor a pupil at the “Ecole Privée Engel & Völkers” on an individual basis, thereby pledging to support our project in the long term. With 25 euros a month, you can cover the entire cost of a child´s education, as well as a new school uniform every year, all teaching materials and two meals a day.
