The city of Luxembourg presents "Winterlights", the festival of lights that plunges the capital of the Grand Duchy into the heart of the holiday season. Luxembourg is becoming a magical city where you can stroll through the various Christmas markets spread over several sites.
You can also enjoy a panoramic view of the capital by taking a Ferris wheel ride or attending various shows and concerts.
Gastronomy lovers can also be seduced by the typical Luxembourgish flavours (Gromprekichelcher, soups, local red or white mulled wine, local sweets made on the spot...).
The 800 m2 "Knuedler on Ice" indoor skating rink allows athletes to enjoy the rhythm of winter in all weathers.
To top it all off, and as every year, the capital's stores will open their doors on Sundays to allow you to do your Christmas shopping in a festive atmosphere.
Finally, the Winterlights season will end on January 6, 2019 to give way to the activities of the new year!
