Engel & Völkers is currently brokering the property featured in the music video to the song “Easy On Me” by the British singer Adele for approximately 5.5 million Canadian dollars (approx. 3.82 million euros). “The estate is spectacular: thanks to its unique atmosphere, the property was the ideal backdrop for the music video,” says David O’Malley, Real Estate Agent at Engel & Völkers Montréal.
The sprawling estate, called “Domaine Dumont Chapelle Ste-Agnès”, is located in the town of Sutton in the Canadian province of Québec, around 90 minutes’ drive from Montréal. It features an ensemble of six buildings, including a residence built in 1846, a separate guesthouse, and a main manor house with a small tower, and has ten bedrooms and 14 bathrooms in total. The large, red ballroom forms the focal point of the main house. It served as the set for the music video to Adele’s hit single “Easy On Me”, shot by Canadian director Xavier Dolan and released in 2021.
The 173-acre property also boasts a garage with space for up to three cars, a small chapel, and a large farm building. The highlight of the estate is the private vineyard, with over 7,000 vines and a production facility for making ice, red, white and port wine. “This special property is truly one of a kind. It combines the benefits of a prime location with a range of different options for commercial and private use. Properties in this category rarely come onto the market,” says David O’Malley.
