We are aware that this is a very uncertain time for the industry and our clients. Today, our aim is to reassure our clients and to take the necessary measures in order to provide a safe environment for them and their families while on holiday.
As multiple yacht shows and international events are being postponed or cancelled, the question of whether travelling is safe has raised concerns among clients. The charter industry however, is focused on reassuring charterers that a yacht can provide the safest holiday option and minimises exposure to public areas during this time.
Safety and security are the utmost important factors you can expect when chartering a yacht as they are extremely clean environments.
We would like to remind our clients that challenging and spontaneous requests are the norm for the crew and captain during a yacht charter. Therefore, implementing procedures to reduce virus transmission will be no different and taken with the seriousness it requires.
We would highly recommend choosing remote destinations as an alternative to avoid risks connected with the coronavirus situation. A good occasion to discover new cruising locations in which our charter team will be happy to advise you on.
Engel & Völkers Yachting will continue to assess the situation to be able to provide informed and responsible guidance and will respect the World Health Organisation and International Maritime Health Association coronavirus guidelines at all times.
If there are any changes, we will keep you informed. Should you wish to speak directly to one of our Charter Brokers, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
