Strategically located in the heart of the Mediterranean, the islands of Malta, Gozo & Comino have been popular for a long time as a holiday destination enjoying the Mediterranean climate with hot and sunny summers and mild winters. Rain is a rarity with over 3000 hours of sunshine per year. Malta, the largest of the three islands covers 316kmsq in land area making it the smallest state in the EU. The country also has two official languages being Maltese and English.

We have a very exciting and active market in Malta, the demand has developed over the past few year. Buyers and tenants alike are both looking for an increase in quality. There are a number of very exciting new developments in the pipeline over the next few years including much desired commercial space.
What are clients in Malta most asking for?
Being an island, most clients are looking for a home with a sea view. Since Malta has such a rich history, our old Palazzo’s are also in high demand, especially in our capital Valletta.

The Engel & Völkers brand has a strong sense of quality. This attracts clients who are interested in achieving the best results. Our agents are continually selecting the best quality and valued properties on the current market. We believe in a process and our sellers and landlords are given the professional guidance of a sales process and market conditions.
What do you like most about Malta and the region?
Malta has a fantastic climate all year round, warm seas and a rich culture. Our Mediterranean lifestyle is second to none. Additionally we are in Europe, and very well connected to all major European cities, for example London is only a 3 hour flight away.
