Team E&V Sara Grech Employees & Agents donate to a good cause.

Hello Readers, Welcome back.

We're happy to acknowledge that this year has been a rollercoaster year of events and we have had the opportunity to view the Premium Brand of E&V Sara Grech from another perspective, We are intrigued as well as our readers who have already taken a glimpseas to what happens behind the scenes to run the Brand E&V Sara Grech now underthe helm of Managing Director Benjamin Tabone Grech (better known as Benji)

We walked around the offices in Mriehel and asked a few some agents and some of the administration team members what its like to work at E&V Sara Grech. The majority told us:

"I leave home to come to a second place I can call home”

“The environment makes you feel like we are working with family members" This was visible to us on the 13th of December, when all the staff were taken out on a surprise day out.

What went down on that day? Let’s discover more...

We have to start off with that all the E&V Staff also had a surprise for Top Management with a present that they will never forget... keep an eye on that!

The tip that the Managment gave to its staff was that they have to be at the Market Centre around 8:30-9:00 am. On our arrival, there were 3 red vans waiting for us, and we met Raymond, who has been one of our great, friendly drivers. That day we got to know that just like Benji, Raymond is a motorbikehead.

The family started getting excited about the day and everyone tried to guess what and where the management would be taking them, which we must say some really got it right! WE WERE GOING FOR A WHOLE DAY IN GOZO!

Who goes to Gozo and never had breakfast in Rabat?

That was our first stop- breakfast, where everything was preplanned and we found the team of Cafe Jubilee preparing the tables for us in the piazza and got some delicious Gozitan Pastizzi, tea and coffee!! We surely recommend that the next time you go Gozo, go and visit Cafe Jubilee! For this, on behalf of the family of E&V Sara Grech, we would like to thank them for there patience and great service.

Raymond, his friends and those RED vans became a personality to us! Every time we saw him we knew there would be another surprise coming our way. Next stop?

It was a crazy tour with members singing Christmas Carols during the drive and other music, during the drive. Within few minutes we find ourselves in front of the Great Ta' Pinu. We really must say, well done to all the people involved in the ongoing project, every spot was a masterpiece! It was and will remain a spiritual place and everyone was quiet and enjoying the few minutes that we had before heading to our lunch.

At one point, we saw our personality Raymond, coming with his vans! Few comments thatsome agents told us during our trip:

"We are feeling like we are back in secondary school, where we used to goon outings with coaches and vans!!" said Alexia.

On the other hand, Margaret who we call Maggie is a wonderful mother of 3 said,"it's great that we can enjoy beautiful Gozo all together, instead of all the cars running around and it’s so difficult to park".

Going through steep hills, we found ourselves in Nadur going to Qala, but midway we were informed that we are stopping for lunch. The restaurant was called Fliegu bar and restaurant, we were welcomed by the owner herself, Ms Vanessa Grech and her team.

Were can we start off?

We had our own private area, with a U shaped table, the views were just PERFECT! and the set-menu were gently handwritten with that touch of personality. The first thing that we did was enjoy the beautiful, magnificent view that could be seen from the large windows. We also had our very own small terrace at the side of the restaurant. We can say that after we took a"few" photos of the restaurant and views, Ms Vanessa Grech and her team started taking the orders and the starters started coming out.

The only thing that we can say about this restaurant is...TO DIE FOR!!

You should visit, and let us know what you think. If you are a meat lover, try their FULL RACKRIBS and if you like Pasta & Fish, you should try the pasta seafood.

At one point, something seemed a bit off from the normal and we taught maybe another surprise is on its way??

And this was the point that the present started coming out!! A small speech was done and a hint was that this year things were going to be done slightly differently (Change means progress) and there was part 1 and part 2... This company really knows how to keep you on your toes! As a normal tradition in this company the Grech's were presented a small gift each, after that an envelope was handed out to them (this was the 2nd part of the gifts) were they had to choose a foundation which they wished to give the donation to. The Grech's choose The Service Dog Foundation.

This really was a nice gesture to close of a great year.

Drinks were offered to all the family at Ta' Philip, with a lounge area all to ourselves once again. We then started to head back tothe Ferry to return toMalta.

On Monday 18th December, we were invited back to the Market Centre office, where The Family presented the donation to TheService Dog Foundation. We met with Joseph Stafrace and his team from The Service Dog Foundation and spoke about the importance of each donation, apart from the possibility that anyone can adopt a puppy for a certain period of months, before they can start the training.
