Over the last two days in June, the Algarve city of Lagos is to host its first ever World Beer Fest in one of its most emblematic spots, the riverside Infante Square
The World Beer Fest feature 16 renowned beers and ciders from around the globe, with brands including Peroni (Italy), BrewDog (Scotland), Grolsch (Holland), Fuller‘s (England), Estrella Galicia (Spain), Magner‘s (Ireland), Stowford Press (England), Old Speckled Hen (England), Carling (Canada / UK), Coors (USA), Caffrey‘s (Ireland), Super Bock and Lince (Portugal), Kopparberg (Sweden), Guinness (Ireland) and Kozel (Czech Republic).
The first edition of this event takes place on 29 and 30 June, from 12pm to 12am on both days.
Entry is free.
The event is packed out with other forms of entertainment, including cover bands, funk, folk and fado performances, craft beer workshops, fire-dance displays and sunset chillout sessions.Every day there is a craft beer workshop.
One of the special features of this festival is that with the purchase of the official trophy of the event it is possible to step into the vehicle "Bebipedala" which will circulate at the event.
