Discrete, fast and with years of market knowledge.
To showcase the quality of the camera of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, Apple showed Lisbon. The Ponte 25 de Abril and the Bairro Alto were for seconds on the stage of the Steve Jobs Auditorium.
"This is beautiful Portugal" was heard at the Steve Jobs Auditorium. It was Phil Schiller, Apple's Marketing Manager, who called the Ponte 25 de Abril on stage as he described the camera quality of the new iPhone models, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
Before the audience thought the picture was taken on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Phil Schiller clarified: that bridge was indeed over the Tagus in Lisbon. And he did not stop there.
To show the quality of the "portrait" option of the new iPhone, another GPS image in the Portuguese capital, Bairro Alto.
The new iPhone models are being announced at Apple's new headquarters, Apple Park. About 8 and 8 Plus, it is already known that they have between 64 and 256 GB, will cost between $ 699 and $ 799 and will go on sale day 22. It is possible to order on the 15th and the iOS 11 operating system is available on 19 September.
In its official website, Apple explains that they "asked amateur photographers and professionals from around the world" to test the camera of the new iPhone. One of these photographers, Jack Davison, was in Lisbon, with this photograph highlighting the contrast in the Portuguese sidewalk.
In social networks, the reference to Lisbon in what is one of the most anticipated events of the year by the technology community, puts the Portuguese "on a superior level".
The Terreiro do Paço was also not left out, used to illustrate the new video stabilization technology.
