Last Thursday, the Engel & Völkers Comporta agency opened a new branch in Carvalhal, which is in the municipality of Grândola. The objective: to continue the work that has already been developed in the last four years, adding local presence and responding to the growing demand in the Alentejo coast.
Due to the recovery of construction projects that had been suspended for several years, but also due to the development of new ones, “the Alentejo coast has been reaffirming and consolidating itself as a new world tourist destination since last year,” says Vitor Paiva, Managing Partner of the Engel & Völkers Comporta agency.
“Carvalhal, due to its location and the real estate projects that are under development in the area (Comporta Retreat, Quinta da Comporta Hotel, Casas da Encosta, the upcoming JNcQuoi Comporta Hotel, La Reserve, Muda Reserve, Sublime, Spatia) is becoming an epicentre of real estate”, says Vitor Paiva.
Last year, the Engel & Völkers Comporta agency marketed about 50 properties, with a value of between 100 thousand euros and 4 million euros. The average sale price was around 500 thousand euros.
