This easily-accessible 10-hectare vineyard is located in the centre of Maldonado at the top of kilometre 130 of Highway 9 just two kilometres from the highway. The plot combines a variety of different fine stones and earth with a sloping terrain which lends well to perfect drainage. It currently comprises two hectares planted with 10-year-old Bordeaux (Merlot, Cabernet-Franc and Petit-Verdot) stumps. The vineyard also has a high area of mountain very conducive to the production of red wine, and another area lower down, with more earth than stones, perfect for the production of Albariño white wine, which is very popular in Uruguay.
