Since its purchase in May, the industry has puzzled over the identity of the new owner of the New York mansion that appeared in the 2010 film "Eat, Pray, Love", starring Julia Roberts. Now, the secret is out! The owner has been revealed as the US soul singer and pianist Norah Jones.
We’d like to congratulate Ms Jones on the purchase of this extraordinary property! The mansion, located in Cobble Hills, Brooklyn, was bought for 6.25 million US dollars. It’s a former fire station, built in the 1840s, which now boasts a large fireplace and a wonderful greenhouse, where Norah Jones will soon be able to grow her own fruit and vegetables. On top of that, a garden and a spacious second-floor terrace await her.
The 36-year old multiple Grammy Award winner knows that property is a secure investment; she also owns a house close by on Amity Street, which she purchased in 2009 for 4.9 million US dollars.
