The Engel & Völkers Market Center Barcelona and the property shops of Andorra, Sant Just, Coruña, Cerdanya and Sitges joined forces at the Barcelona Meeting Point. Spain’s most important real estate fair was held at the end of October in Barcelona. The shops and the Market Center used their collective trade fair presence to raise the profile of Engel & Völkers among the more than 33,000 visitors.
“The 30 square metres trade fair stand in itself attracted the attention of visitors, as the design was based on an Engel & Völkers shop”, reports Silke Dittrich, International Marketing Director at Engel & Völkers. With virtual reality glasses, visitors of the Engel & Völkers stand could take virtual tours through some properties. “This technology offers so many great opportunities for the property sector. It brings properties to life, even if they don’t exist yet. Models and drawings give an idea, but a virtual tour comes close to turning concepts into reality”, explains Dittrich.
Impressed by the stand and the glasses, visitors soon wanted more information and spoke with the Engel & Völkers teams. The expansion team for Spain and Portugal was also present and took the opportunity to speak to potential licence partners and present the successful Engel & Völkers franchise system to them.
