Engel & Völkers Southern Africa has successfully expanded their footprint by recently signing the Western Cape Northern Suburbs/Durbanville license. It is with great excitement and anticipation that we welcome Morne and Mary-Ann Vorster as new Licence Partners to the Engel & Völkers family. With both Morne and Mary-Ann having a background in retail and owning retail franchises for over 12 years, it will be their day to day involvement in the business which will make them successful. “We have always had a passion for property whether it was buying our own home or being involved in property developments. That drive and enthusiasm has always been there”, says Mary-Ann when asked what was their reason for wanting to invest in the property industry. “We live what we dream and we have always been interested in the industry, it was an easy choice to make” added Morne.
Morne and Mary-Ann are currently based in Potchefstroom, and they purchased their first property through our branch in Potchefstroom, they were pleasantly surprised by the level of service, the quality of professionalism as well as friendly manner in which they were treated by our Property Sales Advisor, Theo Volschenk. “After living in Potchefstroom for some time, we picked up a copy of the National Guide to Real Estate and decided to contact Craig Hutchison to discuss a potential franchise opportunity” said Mary-Ann.

Riaan van Deventer, Head of Real Estate Operations, Engel & Völkers Southern Africa, will be working in close liaison with the new Licence Partners in order to help them find premises for their shop front, identify key target areas in the Northern Suburbs and to assist in the recruitment drive of quality property sales advisors in the area. “To compliment the business philosophy of both Morne and Mary-Ann, we need to recruit individuals with the same sense of passion and dedication to the superior and excellent brand of Engel & Völkers”, said Riaan.
