Wederom is located in the heart of the Breede Vatley, Robertson. The farm is 9 km from Robertson on a well established wine route. Neighbours include Graham Beck Wine, Van Loveren Wine Farms, Highlands Stud and a variety of guest and horse farms and wedding venues all located in beautiful surroundings in a very safe area near the banks of the Breede River.
The winery owns two registered trade names : Wederom and Salvadori .
The Salvadori is named after an Italian prisoner that stayed on the farm during the Second World War. Paintings by this man on the cellar walls contribute to the rich history of the farm and its people.
There is 1.46 ha of Shiraz vines planted in 2007 as well as 0,6 ha of Merlot planted in 2014 producing about 8000 bottles of wine each year. This is mainly marketed in Germany with a few local restaurants also keeping stock.
The guesthouse on the farm started as a small B&B in 1997. Over the years it has turned into the perfect holiday destination for tourists and overnight accommodation for corporate travelers.
Accommodation includes 12 beautifully decorated guest units. The guesthouse offers the full bouquet including conference facility, restaurant and laundry services. The setting of the guesthouse makes it a perfect stop for tourists and locals being only 90 minutes from Cape
Town International Airport
The Hanepoot Huisies has built up a very big market over the years and is definitely one of the
most popular establishments in Robertson, Various contracts with German Tour companies contribute to the success of the guesthouse with bookings in place to mid 2017.
A fully licensed 40-seat restaurant is on the premises but is not operating on a permanent basis. It can be used for functions, weddings or conferencing.
The farm forms part of the Rooiberg conservancy; a non profitable organization specializing in the protection of leopards in the area. A selection of "fynbos" makes this a perfect spot for hiking and cycling.
