The team at Engel & Völkers South Africa knows how to work hard – achieving outstanding sales and negotiating the best deals for their clients – but they also know how to kick back, party hard and celebrate their success, with recognition going to top achievers at the company's annual rewards function.
Held at Monte Casino in Sandton, Gauteng, this year's eventwas coupled with the annual licence partner conference which kicked the day off. “It was a very positive and pro-active workshop and we look forward to implementing the new and improved ways of working as well as achieving the goals that were set” says Lara Machado, Engel & Völkers Southern Africa Head of training.
The day moved to the evening where it was time to celebrate the stars for 2016. Themed along the lines of a Glitz & Glamour, the ceremony started with a red carpet entrance where guests were met with a signature welcome cocktail sponsored by Bains, a proudly South African and international award winning whisky to get guests in the mood.
“Over 250 guests attended the function, with special guests from abroad as well as local. The evening was all about recognizing and rewarding our top achievers for the past year, in the context of a glittering gala event, through which the high roller and celebrity theme continued” says Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa.

After all the fun and games, it was time to start the formal part of the evening, and many prize winners were recognized and acknowledged for their hard work.
