Welcome to S’Estaca, perhaps the most exclusive villa on Majorca.

The UNESCO world heritage site of Serra de Tramuntana on one side and the crystal-clear Mediterranean on the other: anyone who has been to S’Estaca will surely remember the immense beauty of its nature for the rest of their lives. The best view of this beautiful scenery is probably enjoyed from the Villa S’Estaca, which shares the name.

Join us on a journey to this unspoilt part of Majorca and discover one of the most exclusive properties that the Mediterranean has to offer.

S’Estaca: Majorca’s hidden gem

One of Majorca’s most idyllic stretches is situated between the port of Valldemossa and the artists’ village of Deià: S’Estaca. There is hardly another place that so originally combines tranquillity, Mediterranean flair and breathtaking natural scenery as this gem in the northwest of the Balearic island. But it’s not only the nature, but also the Villa S’Estaca that makes this place so special.

The estate is surrounded by Majorca’s paradisiacal nature and is only 30 minutes’ drive from the city of Palma. Despite maximum privacy, Villa S’Estaca can easily be reached by land, sea and air. This is enabled not only by the nearby ports of Valldemossa and S’Estaca, but also by the picturesque roads winding through the adjoining mountain ranges.

The sheer splendour of the nature was surely also one of the reasons why the Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria, known for his Mediterranean studies, settled in S’Estaca. In 1878 he bought the estate, which at the time consisted of only the main building, and had it modernised and expanded in Aeolian architectural style. Today, S’Estaca consists of seven separate buildings spread over an area of 77 hectares. These include the historical main building, a gatehouse, a mill house, a sports and massage room, an artist’s studio as well as two building sections in Moroccan and Italian style.

Amenities to the highest standard

S’Estaca was renovated in 1990 with great attention to detail and a special focus on preserving the historical charm of the estate. The villa now combines the best of history, tradition and modern amenities. The latter includes, for example, a luxury multimedia lounge and the large parlour with grand piano in the mill house.

The main building has a wine cellar, several terraces, a bathroom with fireplace, an antique marble bath, including a shower with sea views, as well as spaciously laid out dressing rooms. The best views are probably found in the master suite in the main building, which offers unique panoramic views of the Mediterranean.

With a total of ten bedrooms, S’Estaca has enough room for up to 20 guests. The guest rooms are located in the gatehouse and in the Italian and Moroccan house. The latter also accommodates the particularly luxurious bedroom suites and an additional sleeping loft. Located next door in the artist’s studio is another bedroom with roofed terrace, which also offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. All apartments are appointed with bathroom, air conditioning, central heating, satellite TV and a fireplace, allowing for maximum comfort and privacy.

The home gym and the associated terrace with massage facilities are also furnished to an exceptionally high standard, making them perfect for sports enthusiasts as well as anyone seeking tranquillity. All in all, the Villa S’Estaca boasts an incredible living area of 1,000 square metres.

Enjoy the luxury of independence

The outdoor area, too, is a delight for all the senses – a lush Mediterranean garden with palm trees, almond trees, fruit trees and old olive trees adorns the estate in addition to the vineyards and forests. Furthermore, the outside area has its own spring water well and power generator. S’Estaca thus allows off-the-grid living at its finest, independent of external utility services.

Also from an aesthetic point of view, the exterior leaves nothing to be desired: picturesque terraces, surrounded by thousand-year-old olive trees, offer the perfect setting for dining together. The matching wine, which has already won several prestigious awards, can be found in the in-house wine cellar. Other highlights include a swimming grotto that has been embedded into the marble swimming pool, as well as a Moorish style pavilion – the ideal meeting place on cool evenings or for an aperitif with friends.

Via a private pier, the estate offers access to the small harbour of the municipality of S’Estaca, which carries the same name as the estate. Its private terrace is perfect for romantic picnics or simply for enjoying the lovely Balearic sunsets.

The modern comfort, the privacy and the unforgettable historic charm are only some of the highlights you can expect during a visit to the Villa S’Estaca.
