Home - retreat and inspiring workplace

"To me, Home means primarily safety, security, peace and relaxation. A beautiful and comfortable home offers a perfect retreat from all the bustle for me and my family. "- Caroline Isenhöfer.

Home - retreat and inspiring workplaceWe visited the interior designer at HOME and were able to get an insight into her work on this occasion. Caroline Isenhöfer has decorated her home with loving attention to detail and impresses with the balanced proportions, the individual colours and the tension-filled furniture. The creative processes don't stop in your own HOME, on the contrary, they start there:

The interior designer is focused on the setting up of apartments and private homes. Clients like to include her in both new construction projects, as well as inventory tags preferably very early in the planning process and she is thus able to participate in shaping a thoughtful, functional home, but above all, a very very cozy and liveable space. Particularly appreciated is her ability to combine classical architectural elements with unusual fabrics and furnishings, harmonious wall colours, accentuated lighting and decorative accessories so that interiors are given an individual character.

The Frankfurt native gained her first professional experience among others in London and in Frankfurt until she became self-employed with her own company INSIGHT Interior Design in Dusseldorf in 2007.A network of experienced and reliable craftsmen gives Caroline Isenhöfer the possibility to offer many services from one source.

Something that is essential for the residential expert is a central meeting place in the house, a space where you can sit together with friends and family, spend cozy evenings, laugh and simply relax. Caroline Isenhöfer also pays special attention to beautiful light sources and brightness: three large dormer windows with stunning light make her office into her personal "feel-good room" - here she can give free rein to her creative senses and design new living concepts with devotion.

The source of your inspiration is design shops of all kinds, which Caroline Isenhöfer discovers on numerous city trips. A few years ago, she spotted the two blue Utrecht chairs by Gerrit Rietveld, which now are some of her favourite pieces of furniture. "I was immediately in love and didn't want to miss them at home."

First impressions of her work can be viewed on Carloline Isenhöfers website.
