Parsons is a 3000 ha game reserve on the Olifants River. This has been divided into properties of 21 ha's. The reserve is in a "Big 5" game area and is part of the Balule Conservancy and the Association of Private Nature Reserves. The reserve also has its own constitution which will have to be signed by any new members so all members conform to the same rules and regulation. The property is situated on the banks of the mighty Olifants River Common sightings are of antelope, zebra, wildebeest, warthog with occasional sightings of elephant, lion, rhino, wild dog and cheetah. Exceptional birdlife with 260 species being recorded, including the elusive Pels Fishing Owl.
