Lissataba is currently still a share block development that will imminently become full title. It comprises 2543 ha of unspoilt bushveld that forms part of the 12 000 ha Blyde / Olifants Conservancy. In addition to being a well managed reserve, Lissataba has dropped its fence with the neighbouring reserve to create an ecological zone in excess of 5 000 ha benefitting the abundant game that roam this area. A central clubhouse and a swimming pool are available for owners and their guests, with entry to the reserve through a controlled access gate. An extensive network of roads provide game and bird watching opportunities, enhanced by viewing hides situated at 3 of the 5 dams across the property. Various walking and cycling routes meander through the reserve allowing a more intimate bush experience. The perrenial Olifants River forms a 6km long border on the south eastern side of the reserve with the Drakensberg Mountains presenting an imposing backdrop.
Situated just four and a half hours drive from Johannesburg, Lissataba is located near the towns of Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa, both of which have airports with daily flights to and from Johannesburg. A wide range of shops and services are available as well as a diverse selection of tourist activities. The Kruger National Park is also within easy reach through a main access gate at Phalaborwa.
Set on a bush stand this property is designed as a rustic retreat, consisting of 3 well spaced en suite double chalets. A central kitchen / dining room chalet provides a focal point together with the pool, barbeque area and elevated thatched viewing deck.
