This Lodge is a haven for one and all. High up on the solid rock face of the Magaliesberg Mountains, a gorge rips straight into the rock. The gorge is softened only by a blanket of shrubs and trees which have grown over millennia, watered by the purest, cleanest water imaginable. The owners of this unique property, have created a wonder in its midst. The mystique of the place is tangible. Following a designated trail higher and higher, under a thick canopy of trees, a strong feeling of peace will overwhelm you. The 248 hectare property has a 4 star grading and the main building houses the reception rooms, restaurant, bar, conference rooms and large veranda. The flowing lawns are the perfect venue for open air weddings while overlooking the Hartbeespoort Dam.
Outer buildings include an open boma area with cooker and open sided thatched lapa with swimming pool. Also included is the owner's residence. A brick and thatched roof home with two bedrooms en suite, large lounge and open plan kitchen and dining room. A large covered parking area with storeroom. The large patio with a rim flow swimming pool and Jacuzzi enjoys a fantastic view of the Hartbeespoort dam and valley below. General accommodation varies from:
Unit A -accommodation consisting of three rooms, brick with tin roof, and each with en suite bathrooms and wooden decks.
Unit B - accommodation consisting of three wooden log cabins. All three rooms linked to each other by wooden walkways, each with bedroom and en suite bathroom and own wooden patio..
Unit C - accommodation, a brick house with thatch roof, consisting of seven bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. It overlook the swimming pool as well as attractive open bush type boma area. It includes a common lounge and bar/breakfast area.
Unit D- A freestanding brick and thatch cottage, with lounge, bedroom and bathroom en suite and own private Jacuzzi.
Unit E - a self-contained two bedroom, one bathroom, brick and thatch roofed house. C
