2015 has already seen E&V expanding into The Parks, Johannesburg and Blouberg, Western Cape, and we continue on this path with yet another licence signed, making it the 3rd this year... Engel & Völkers soon in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
“It is with great excitement that we welcome Scott Pharoah on board as our latest addition to the E&V family. Scott signed the contract for the Hyde Park licence on Monday, 22 June 2015” says Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa.
Scott was introduced to the Engel & Völkers brand by way of visibility in his area, which led him to approach the Engel & Völkers Bryanston shop to assist with the marketing and selling of his property. Needless to say, this resulted in a successful sale and Scott was very happy with the service received. The brand stuck with him, and when it came to the decision to expand his business interests to the real estate industry, Engel & Völkers was his next logical step as he loved the brand awareness, the shop concept and the exclusivity.
Scott has been in the vehicle industry for the past 18 years, of which the last 10 years have been in the exclusive car sector where he is hands-on involved in the daily running of the business. He has an extensive sales background and with the sales concept of both real estate, and vehicle industries being very similar, Scott is bound to make a huge success of this new venture.
“I believe that the strength in running a sales team in a service industry revolves around love, empathy and good, solid and honest leadership of your staff” Scott stated. Promoting staff and being empathetic to buyer and sellers is the philosophy which Scott lives by and will also use these same principles in the Engel & Völkers brand.
The suburbs covered by this licence territory includes Atholl; Atholl Gardens; Chislehurston; Dunkeld; Dunkeld West; Elton Hill; Elton Hill Ext 3; Glen Atholl; Glen Atholl Ext 1; Hyde Park; Illovo; Illovo Ext 1; Inanda; Kent View; Sandhurst; Sandhurst Ext 4 and Wierda Valley.
Scott is currently busy identifying the right location for his shop and will be opening in the latter part of this year.
“We wish Scott all the best and believe that with his business ethics and people skills, we will still see great things to come from the area. The sale of this prestigious license area brings the E&V brand yet another step closer to dominating the market in SA” Craig concluded.
