The start of the decade has most certainly been an interesting one, which has created both challenges and opportunities. When faced with the challenges it is always initially daunting until you take that step back, reassess the way forward and grab the opportunities that always come with challenges. Even through the pandemic we have grown the Engel & Völkers network by 20% and are looking at increasing the size of the network considerably during the course of 2021.
“We find ourselves uniquely placed in Engel & Völkers Southern Africa in that we have an international renowned brand with some of the most sought after suburbs available for franchise. This not only presents a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs wanting to enter the property brokerage market, but it also enables us as Engel & Völkers Southern Africa to redress the demographics of the property real estate market.” Says Craig Hutchison, Joint CEO of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa.
One of our long-standing Franchise Partners, Carl Venter in Potchefstroom, recently renewed his license agreement for a further 10 years. This after setting new sales records in Potchefstroom for the 2020 year. Just in October Carl and his team achieved sales of 63 units to the value of R94 million. The renewal of the License Agreement for a further ten years shows his commitment to the brand and the industry in Potchefstroom. “I couldn’t think of working with any other brand in the property industry, the international network, systems and support are a cut above the rest, and our clientele expect and receive the professionalism that an international brand brings” Says Carl Venter, License holder for Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom.
Engel & Völkers looks forward to expanding their footprint in the country going forward and providing a professional service to our clientele.
