Paloma Pérez has been appointed to the management team of the international Engel & Völkers Market Centers (MC) with effect from 1 January 2019. At the same time she becomes a member of the “International Executive Board” of Engel & Völkers. Prior to this new post, she achieved considerable success as Managing Director of the Engel & Völkers Market Center Madrid. “We look forward to Paloma Pérez applying her expertise to the benefit of all our MCs worldwide, to strategically drive the business forward. Thanks to her strong leadership over the last four years, Engel & Völkers Madrid is now the market leader for real estate brokerage in the region,” said Sven Odia, CEO of Engel & Völkers AG. Óscar Larrea, former Team Leader at the MC Madrid, succeeds Paloma Pérez, taking up the role with effect from January 2019. He has worked at Engel & Völkers in Spain since 2013.

Paloma Pérez studied Telecommunications Engineering in Madrid and went on to gain a Master of Business Administration and the General Manager Program at the IESE Business School in Madrid. She also graduated from the “Program for Leadership Development” (PLD) at Harvard Business School. Before joining Engel & Völkers, she held various consultancy posts at corporations including Deloitte and IBM in Spain and the USA. She went on to become Managing Director of Veritas Software and COO at the Spanish insurance company Pelayo Insurance. Most recently, Paloma Pérez was Vice President of the global healthcare company Best Doctors, responsible for sales and operations in the EMEA and Australasia regions.
