Architecture projects 2020: living comfort at the highest level

The current architectural projects for 2020 promise modern, high-quality living comfort of a special kind. While the emphasis in Germany is on residential quarters, other countries are building upwards - with a focus on superlatives. The architectural projects are interesting in any case and therefore the year 2020 has a lot to offer.

Hamburg - The year 2020 knows how to inspire with exciting architectural projects. Rotating skyscrapers or quarters with high living quality await residents.

Central Park Tower New York City, USA: high and higher

The architects Adrian and Extell Smith designed the Central Park Tower. At 472 meters, it will not only be the tallest skyscraper in New York City, but also the highest residential building in the world. Approximately 23,000 square metres of the total area will be used by the Nordstrom department store chain. 179 exclusive apartments are for sale on the 108 floors. With a view over Manhattan and Central Park, the new Central Park Tower will certainly be one of the best residential addresses in the world from 2020.

Grand Tower, Frankfurt: Germany's highest residential tower

The era of superlatives also seems to be starting in Frankfurt in 2020. Germany's tallest residential skyscraper is currently under construction there and awaits completion in 2020. The Grand Tower is located in the Europaviertel and with its height of 172 metres dominates the Frankfurt skyline. The façade design is reminiscent of honeycombs and the large, floor-to-ceiling window fronts guarantee breathtaking views of Frankfurt and the wider Taunus region. The extraordinary architecture and sophisticated technology already won several real estate awards during the construction phase. Loggias, terraces and balconies in front of each high-end apartment invite you to enjoy the lofty heights barrier-free.

Dynamic Tower, Dubai: turned with the wind ...

Dubai is a city of superlatives and famous for its extraordinary architectural projects. In 2020, the metropolis of the United Arab Emirates will surprise visitors with several unique architectural projects - right on time for the start of the world exhibition Expo 2020. Probably the most spectacular project is the Dynamic Tower Dubai. Each of the 80 floors of the 420-metre-high skyscraper rotates individually around the central axis. 48 wind turbines hide between the floors and, together with the solar roof, supply the Dynamic Tower with the necessary energy for rotation. The Florentine architect David Fisher designed the architectural project, which cost around 300 million euros. In addition to five 1,000 square metre villas in the upper area, a 6-star hotel as well as offices and luxury apartments are to move into the rotating tower. Not only the residents will experience a constantly changing perspective. Since each floor can rotate 360 degrees individually, the Tower, also called Da Vinci, always looks different to the city's inhabitants.

More 2020 luxury residential projects already await discovery at E&V Development Services.
