Smíchov: Location and surroundings of this property

Smíchov is a Prague’s city quarter located on the left bank of Vltava and is a part of Prague 5. It borders Malá Strana in the North, Hlubočepy in the South, and Radlice in the Southwest. Smíchov was an industrial area for many years. At the end of the 90s and during the 20th century, Smíchov underwent a complete revival and became today’s most known commercial center Anděl. The renowned shopping and business center Nový Smíchov was developed, and became the prestigious headquarters to many firms. The previous industrial look is of historical value, and several important memorial places such as Kinsky Garden, Baroque Villa Portheimka, New-Renaissance Church St. Václav, and Klamovka Villa, are all a part of historical Anděl. In the immediate vicinity are two large parks - Sacré Coeur and Diezenhoferovy Sady Park. You will find everything you’ll need in close vicinity. Walking distance to preschools, primary and secondary schools, specialty high schools, leisure activities, health facilities with complete healthcare, pharmacy, post office, ATMs, specialty shops, shopping center, restaurants, and cafes. Shopping center Nový Smíchov offers abundance of shops, specialty shops, supermarkets, and 4D cinema. You will get to the city center by metro stop B – Anděl, trams, and buses.
