It also has an amazing network of 200 km of paths, certified by the European Union, which allows all excursionists through wonderful hikes to reach, visit and experience the island.
The capital of the island, Chora, is one of the most beautiful in the Cyclades. It has many museums, such as the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Cycladic Olive Museum and the Maritime Museum.
Accessibility: Andros is accessible from the port of Rafina and is the closest island of the Cyclades from Athens. There are at least four daily ferry services during the summer season and at least two during the winter. The journey takes just two hours.
