South Kerry: Location and surroundings of this property

The cottage is located off the Ring of Kerry and lies half way between Caherciveen and Glenbeigh. Close to Kells and Glenbeigh villages as well as Caherciveen town the property has access to all amenities such as shopping facilities, restaurants, pubs and schools.

Kells is located in a dark sky reserve, one of only three on the planet, which means that many astronomical sights can be seen through the naked eye. There is a small tourist harbour in Kells and also the Kells Bay Gardens, which is an old Victorian Garden containing one of the foremost collections of Southern Hemisphere sub-tropical plants in Europe.
