The Blyde Wildlife Estate is just under 400 ha in size and lies approximately 15 km outside Hoedspruit town along the R527. The estate borders approximately 4 km of Blyde River frontage and some of the stands have mountain views. A total of 154 stands are well placed in typical bushveld vegetation. The estate is fenced and has an abundance of plains game, such as kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, nyala, bushbuck, grey duiker and hippo. Strong emphasis is placed on the serenity of the estate and rules and regulations prevent disturbances from neighbours and noise impact from any building sites. As a general rule within the estate, you are permitted to have 2 pets, which must be registered with the Home Owners Association. The estate has well maintained concrete roads with a speed limit of 30 km/hr, a picnic area, various dams for fishing, hiking trails, clubhouse, gym, squash and tennis courts and swimming pool for use of all members, as well as access controlled boom gates. In keeping with the aesthetics’ of the estate, the electricity cables have been laid underground, enhancing the views.
