Malá Strana is a historical town located on the left bank of Vltava. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful Prague’s quarters. Abundance of impressive developments and interesting places such as Kampa Island surrounded by Čertovka, Malostranské Square with St. Mikuláš Church, Maltézské Square, Újezd with railway to Petřín, Štefánikova Hvězdárna, Petřín Tower, and abundance of gardens (Kinského, Petřínské sady, Schönbornská). These gardens including Petřín and the surroundings create a green oasis located right in the middle of the city in Malá Strana. Malá Strana is a political, cultural, and administrative center. Both Czech national parliament parties reside here as well as many other executive powers along with the Czech Music Museum and Kampa Museum.
