Nouvelle construction à vendre en Espagne, au Portugal et en Andorre - Styles de vie: plage
Another Spanish particularity is the relatively wide insular surface that it comprises. The new-builds for sale in the national islands present characteristics quite similar to those that we can find in other points of the peninsular coast, although there are also important nuances. This type of housing usually presents a greater exclusivity than the rest, while the foreign market is more notably represented. Thus, the type of real estate ranges from large villas surrounded by natural landscapes of unique beauty to modern apartments in blocks of flats or developments in large cities.
The two largest Spanish archipelagos, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, are the main destinations in this real estate category. In the first case, we distinguish numerous specificities depending on the area in which we place ourselves. Thus, Ibiza stands out as an example of luxury and nightlife, with many authentic luxury villas. In Mallorca, however, a greater variety is distinguished, including country houses in the Sierra de Tramuntana. Menorca, on the other hand, offers greater privacy in an excellently preserved natural environment. In the Canary Islands, on the other hand, the presence of houses within the islands is not significant, mainly concentrating on properties that are facing the main beaches of Gran Canaria and Tenerife. With regard to Portugal, Azores and Madeira are the main exponents, highlighting the natural exuberance of the second archipelago.
As we have pointed out before, homes in island environments do not respond to a single type of property. The luxury apartments are a fairly widespread option in the main cities of the archipelagos (Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Palma, Ibiza, Funchal ...). We can find both the busiest areas of the cities and urbanisations slightly further from the centre. These owners prefer to have the remarkable offer of leisure, gastronomy, culture and services in general that characterise the cities.
Luxury houses are another possibility that has a long tradition in the islands. The coast of Ibiza is particularly famous with urbaniSations that guarantee a series of basic services but where different properties are properly separated from each other (a guarantee of privacy). Within Mallorca, these types of properties are also highlighted, some of which even have a certain historical appeal (for their more traditional design). Not everything on the islands has to be modern after all.
