This popular four-star Franschhoek guesthouse whisks you away to another place and time with its cobbled walkways, Paris garden lights and seasonal bubbling brook. The common pool area and lush garden offers various seating areas to enjoy the breath-taking mountain views or watch birds and squirrels frolic in the green vegetation.

The guesthouse consists of eight, spacious bedrooms fitted with air conditioners and fans, each with en-suite bathroom and toilet. Six of the bedrooms offer double volume ceilings. Although all bedrooms have been decorated with a similar “Midnight in Paris” theme, each bedroom offers a distinctly unique experience which is luxurious yet homely. Several of the rooms have dramatic views onto the surrounding Franschhoek Mountains.

There is a ninth bedroom in the form of a flat-let with bedroom, bathroom, walk-in cupboard, kitchenette and lounge area and is suitable for a live-in Manager or couple. A full laundry with industrial machines has another bedroom and en-suite bathroom attached in which the current Supervisor resides. This area could easily be converted to a tenth, spacious bedroom, subject to counsel approval.

The property contains two individual buildings brought together aesthetically by an upper wooden deck and balcony. The original home is a heritage building which was built in the eighteen hundreds. Both buildings were beautifully renovated and upgraded in 2016 with fully approved plans. The approved, engineered roof on the heritage building allows the bedrooms upstairs to have impressive, double-volume ceilings.
