Recently reconstructed and thoughtfully reimagined, the home is a celebration of superior craftsmanship, light, and timeless design—where every space feels both intimate and grand. The property offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom of which the two closest to the street entry are historic in their time of construction, made of thick adobe walls and high ceilings. The home unfolds across a single level with a split-level design, creating a dynamic flow while maintaining an ease open-concept living that defines the heart of the house, where the copper-backsplash lined kitchen, dining room, and main living area connect seamlessly under soaring ceilings accented with exposed wooden beams, boveda ceiling, graceful arches, and exquisite stonework finishes. A master stucco Mason was brought from the coastal state of Veracruz to create the expert finish throughout. Large windows frame the interiors with natural light throughout the day, while the rear-facing windows open to tranquil garden views, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors. Multiple patios, leafy courtyards, fountains, and a 100-year old mesquite evoke the romance of a classic hacienda, enriched by abundant vegetation that surrounds the home with serenity and life. Beyond the covered walkway, the experience continues to the back patio and expansive green areas, perfect for alfresco dining, quiet mornings, or evening gatherings. Ascending a short flight of stairs reveals an additional kitchen, living-dining room with large windows and a private terrace, offering elevated views of the gardens and a peaceful retreat ideal for entertaining or relaxing. The house also features reverse osmosis in all three kitchens and it comes fully furnished. Architecturally, the home is truly special. The initial and most significant upgrades were carried out by renowned architect Teresa Wachter, whose vision transformed the property. Her work includes the creation of three stunning bóveda ceilings, the raising of all rooflines for enhanced privacy, and the design of the impressive round brick pillars supporting the upper veranda—whose roof was completely rebuilt to a much higher standard. Teresa also conceived the decorative tile trim around all windows and doors, the scalloped roofline tiles, the delicate lace brickwork, the two front fountains, and the striking mesquite French doors in the living room, which anchor the home with warmth and character. The final design and finishing touches were completed by the acclaimed Mexico City design firm Healing Spaces, whose refined sensibility brought harmony, balance, and a luxurious calm to every detail.
