The medieval complex of Pals has been awarded the National Fine Arts and Tourism Prize and the Medal of Honor for Tourism of Catalonia.

Its medieval old quarter, popularly known as El Pedró, is a masterpiece of architectural restoration, preserving 15th-century buildings such as the medieval wall and the Clock Tower. In its streets you will find Gothic and Romanesque buildings, as well as various art galleries and small craft shops.
