The house is in Premià de Mar, the second most populous town in El Maresme, with modern, high-quality shops. Part of the El Maresme region, it is 23 kilometres by road from the centre of the Catalan capital, Barcelona. Next to the beaches there are several seaside promenades, equipped with various exercise stations for athletes, with a wide range of options for walking and cycling. The urban centre stretched along the Mataró road (Camí Reial), around the current Carrer de Sant Antoni, the Town Hall Square and the Church of Saint Christopher. The typical old houses (many of which are still preserved today in the old town) are buildings with white façades that maintain the village’s aesthetic, together with other notable buildings of Modernist, Neoclassical and traditional architecture, such as some local farmhouses.
