Maggi Thornhill

Born in Manchester, England, Maggi Thornhill first visited Whistler in the early 1980s and instantly fell in love with the area. She moved to the west coast in 1983, and by 1988, after settling in Whistler, she earned her real estate license and launched what would become one of the most successful careers in the region.

At the time, Whistler was primarily a winter resort for Vancouver families, with little summer activity. Maggi’s vision and dedication helped shape the market into the thriving destination it is today. In October 2007, she founded Thornhill Real Estate Group, achieving over $3 billion in total sales, including Whistler’s highest-priced home at $17.5M in 2007. She has sold more homes over $2M and $5M than any other agent in Whistler and set a record $320M in residential sales in 2017. Over the past five years, she has averaged over $200M in sales annually.

In September 2018, Maggi aligned with Engel & Völkers, gaining access to a global network of 11,000 professionals and 800 shops while focusing on her family-owned business.
