Reid Sanborn

As a Private Office Advisor, Associate Broker, and Partner at Engel & Völkers Sun Valley, Reid Sanborn uses his leadership experience, market knowledge, and unrelenting work ethic to deliver a premium level of service to his clients. His involvement as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Sun Valley, along with his past role as President of the Sun Valley Board of Realtors, demonstrates his commitment to community development and the real estate industry.

Reid's contributions to Engel & Völkers Development Services include his recent multi-family and commercial developments - The Lofts at 660, The Residences at 120, The Ida Building, and The First Chair Building in Ketchum. With more highly anticipated projects currently in the early phases in the downtown area, his work exemplifies a forward-thinking approach and a dedication to enhancing the Valley. Reid is a distinguished member of the Gestalt Group’s Development Services Advisory Committee, made up of some of the top Advisors and License Partners in the Engel & Volkers network, with a goal of providing development expertise across the Gestalt Group network.

Born and raised in Mercer Island, Washington, Reid pursued his undergraduate degree at Washington State University before embarking on a fulfilling career in the United States Air Force as a Fighter Pilot in the F-15 , where he achieved the rank of Major. Following a distinguished 12-year military career, Reid earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina, Kenan Flagler School of Business. He is a decorated military officer, and has traveled and served all over the United States and around the world. Reid is now a full-time resident in Sun Valley, Idaho where he enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, and playing in the outdoors with his family.
