Torrevieja is a coastal town in the south of Alicante province in the area known as the Costa Blanca. It has a population of about 100,000 inhabitants and is 41 kms away from Alicante to the north, 23 kms from Elche to the northwest, and 53 kms from Murcia in the southeast. So it is in the middle of beautiful cities and two airports. Torrevieja has a protected Natural park with two salt lakes and 20 kms of coastline containing six large beaches and about 20 coves with an abundance of cliffs.
