The 2258Ha mountain reserve is world renowned for its pristine protea and fynbos fauna and flora and is visited annually by the Imperial College of London. Around 8000 fynbos species have been identified with even more still to be documented. The reserve has a rich animal life and boasts the largest population of Cape Leopard in South Africa. For bird watchers this is a paradise with more than 130 bird species recorded. The mountain resort offers accommodation in 18 well equipped rooms as well as a conference room, bar and restaurant with amazing views over the dam and valley below. Over the last 30 years the owners have established a large base of corporate clients who visit the resort every year.
