NoThis fabulous flat is located in the south part of the town of Jávea. It is perfect for walking distance to all amenities such as supermarkets, pharmacy, schools, shops and only two minutes from the historic centre of Jávea. Jávea is a coastal town in the comarca of Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. Situated on the slopes of the Montgó massif, behind a wide bay and sheltered between two rocky promontories, the town centre is slightly elevated above sea level and protected by the Motgó (786m). Half of its resident population and more than two thirds of its annual visitors are foreigners. The property is located 2.5km from beautiful beaches which, except in August, are not very crowded. Apart from sunbathing and swimming, there is a wide choice of water sports and activities such as sailing, diving, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, among others. ACCESS: Javea is approximately 1 hour drive from two airports with international connections (Valencia and Alicante). New to Javea? Check out these video links below to see more of the charming area: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evnlABYtgbY o - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0hNAVK78HU For history enthusiasts: The area was first inhabited in prehistoric times, 30,000 years ago, by the inhabitants of the Montgó caves. Later Stone and Bronze Age people, Romans, Greeks, Phoenicians, Visigoths, Germans, Carthaginians and Arabs inhabited the area. Roman fishing boats used the port, and there is evidence dating the Roman occupation of Jávea to the 2nd century B.C., which, with the arrival of the Romans in the area in the 2nd century B.C., is a clear evidence of the Roman occupation of Jávea.
